There are two kinds of polarizers for three-dimensional glasses: linear and circular. The purpose of polarization is to create a three-dimensional effect by using the vibration direction of light to separate the original image into vertical and horizontal polarized light. Different polarized lenses are then used to present these two sets of images to the eyes, which are then combined by the brain to create a stereoscopic image.

Polarizer structure:

The polarizer's fundamental structure consists of a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) layer, two layers of cellulose triacetate (TAC), a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) film, a release film, and a protective film. The PVA layer is responsible for polarization, but it is susceptible to hydrolysis. To safeguard the physical properties of the polarizing film, the PVA composite layer possesses high light transmittance, excellent water resistance, and sufficient mechanical strength on both sides, forming the polarized base plate.
